Fall 2008 U6 Program

The U6 program is key to the success of our club as many of the U6 players go on to participate in our competitive program. The Pro Staff of SC del Sol have devised and developed the program and are at all of the sessions. Our goal is for players to have fun in a positive and rewarding environment and cherish the memories of their first involvement in soccer.

Our coaches are energetic, patient and caring. The players participate in a games based program where learning is achieved through a process of trial and error. Games and fun activities are utilized to maximize player involvement, touches on the ball and physical activity. There are no positions, no formations, no waiting in line. We measure the success of our U6 program by the number of laughs and the size of the smiles.

Our next session begins September 28th and runs through December 7th.  The first two weeks of the program are structured so that players participate in fun games and training conducted by our professional trainers. We will then form teams and during the remaining sessions, teams will play games against one another.

The training and games will be on Sundays at 2:00 - 3:00 pm at Venturoso Park, 14424 N. 32nd St. The fee for the Fall session is $90.  The fee includes registration and a uniform consisting of two shirts, a pair of socks, and a pair of shorts. The player needs to provide a size 3 ball and a pair of shin guards. Soccer shoes are optional.  Players born between 8/1/02, and 7/31/04 are eligible for the 2008/09 sessions. Any child who wishes to play will be accepted. We have room for everyone; no one will be turned away because we are full, or because of a late sign up.
