Boys' Program Overview

Our boys' program is widely regarded as one of the region's best-run and most successful. We have multiple teams in every age group from U-7 through to U-19 that cater to players of all abilities. Each one of these teams is trained and coached by two members of the professional coaching staff who conduct all training sessions and are at all games. We do not have any volunteer parents working with any team at any level.

All of the boys' coaching staff follow and implement a dynamic, player-centered curriculum that connects all players and teams within the club. The competitive program is geared towards developing great teams by developing great players. SC del Sol is proud of the fact that our competitive players are superbly prepared in all areas.

The majority of our boys' teams practice three times a week in the north Phoenix/Scottsdale area and participate in top-level leagues and tournaments both in and out of state. All of our teams, irrespective of the level, participate in a healthy mix of training, league games, and tournament play. See below for a brief description of all of our player platforms.

The Elite Academy League has a mission to provide a National platform with a standards-based league giving clubs the ability to provide a full developmental model and pathway with top competition and exposure. The Elite Academy League is composed of member clubs that represent Elite competitive clubs in their market and have shown to be of the standard and will benefit from being part of this platform. By unifying clubs from within the conferences, we have maintained the defining standards of previous elite platforms with a collective approach to making sure the platform sits atop the youth landscape.

Pre-Academy | 2017 (U7) - 2012 (U12) | ASA

Our main association is with the Arizona Soccer Association (ASA) of which we are a long-standing member. Depending upon age and ability, our teams will participate in ASA's leagues, ASA's Presidents' Cup, and ASA's State Cup. In addition to ASA league play our pre-academy teams will participate in respected tournaments both in-state and out-of-state throughout the season. For more info please click here.

Tournaments

In addition to the leagues, all of our teams will participate in a challenging schedule of in-state and out-of-state tournaments. Throughout the years our teams have participated in prestigious tournaments such as Dallas Cup (TX), Surf Cup (CA), Blues Cup (CA), North Huntington Beach (CA), Presidents Day (AZ), PDA (New Jersey), Disney Soccer Showcase (FL). This commitment to elite tournaments will continue as it provides our players with the unique opportunity to compete against the best clubs in the U.S. while showcasing their talents in front of the top college coaches in the country.
